About Me
My earliest memory of painting is at the age of
5. It was my favourite ‘choosing time’ activity at school. I can still remember
the smell of powder paints mingled with plasticene in the classroom.
I studied at Maidstone College of Art and
graduated in 1990 with a BA Hons Degree in Illustration.
I work mainly in acrylic paints and am inspired
by music and stories, myth and magic, hares, bears and moonlight, plants, birds
and the sea
I live in a small village in Wiltshire with my
husband, two children,
2 cockerels, 5 hens and 2 cats.
When I’m not painting I love to spend time in the
garden, daydream and grow flowers to sell at my garden gate.
